Section treats – and serves as a major referral center for – patients with disorders of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and gastrointestinal tract

Minimally Invasive Surgery

Section offers minimally invasive and open surgery to treat gastrointestinal (GI) conditions 

Transplant Surgery

Section offers adult and pediatric liver, kidney and kidney-pancreas transplants as well as treating complicated problems – such as large liver tumors – in patients who might otherwise be listed as transplant candidates elsewhere

Vascular Surgery

Section offers minimally invasive surgical techniques and other treatment to patients with vascular disease


Division of Pediatric Surgery

Division treats patients with a wide spectrum of medical conditions in children, from congenital anomalies to hernias, traumatic injuries, burns and cancerous tumors


Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Division offers craniofacial, cleft lip and palate surgery; hand and upper extremity injury surgery; cosmetic surgery; microsurgery/reconstructive surgery; wound and skin care management; and pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgery.


Division of Public Health Sciences

Division focuses on population-based research and provides a platform for investigators from multiple disciplines to collaborate on projects that affect strategies in clinical care and outcomes.


Division of Urologic Surgery

Division offers surgical and nonsurgical options for medical conditions of the urogenital tract, including the prostate and testicles in males and the kidneys and bladder in both males and females
