2017-2018 Top Gun winner Corbin Frye, MD, the first intern to win this competition, is accompanied by General Surgery Residency Program Director Paul Wise, MD, and runner-up Roheena Panni, MD. The Top Gun competition tests laparoscopic and suturing skills, with the winner going on to participate in the national Top Gun contest, held at the annual meeting of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).
